Sites and assignments for all three classifications of bowling are now available for the 2024 state qualifying meets.
Those district meets, in cooperation with the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union , are scheduled for Tuesday, February 13 at locations across the state. Qualifying teams and individuals advance to the 2024 Iowa High School Bowling Championships, set for February 19-21 at Cadillac XBC in Waterloo.
Tickets for state qualifying meets are $6.
Team Tournament: Each team bowls 15 baker games, top pin total advances to state meet. Eight qualifiers per class.
- Class 3A: Four sites, top two teams per site.
- Class 2A: Four sites, top two teams per site.
- Class 1A: Eight sites, top team per site.
Individual Tournament: Each individual bowls three games, top pin total advances to state meet. 32 qualifiers per class.
- Class 3A: Four sites, top eight individuals per site.
- Class 2A: Four sites, top eight individuals per site.
- Class 1A: Eight sites, top four individuals per site.
